A festive afternoon of evocative Russian works including The Snow Maiden and Christmas Eve suites by Rimsky Korsakov and Glazunov’s Winter from The Seasons. Christmas often means a trip to the ballet and the orchestra present excerpts from Prokofiev’s Cinderella before a finale of Christmas bells and well-known tunes from Prokofiev’s Lieutentant Kijé.
